The Special Education Support Service is providing this full-day seminar seminar on 'Deafness: an Introduction for Mainstream Class Teachers and Resource / Learning Support Teachers'.

The seminar is suitable for both primary and post-primary teachers. Applications are sought from teachers who are currently teaching a pupil with a hearing impairment. 

Registration will take place from 8.45am and the seminar will commence at 9:00am.
 
Refreshments and lunch will be provided.
 
Substitution will be provided if it is deemed absolutely essential by the principal and we would ask that you to contact the SESS office before the seminar if you wish to arrange substitution. Travel and subsistence will be paid at the normal rate to participating teachers.
