2-Day TEACCH
Course Description
2-Day TEACCH® courses are available for Primary teachers and for Post-Primary Teachers. The courses are provided by Special Education Support Service, in conjunction with TEACCH® Autism Program.
TEACCH® Autism Program at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill developed the intervention approach called Structured TEACCHing, an evidence-based strategy that is based on the understanding of the symptoms and learning styles of individuals with Autism and the use of visual supports to provide meaning, promote independence and capitalize on the individual’s strengths.
