This two day workshop is presented by S. Michael Chapman, Co author of the T-TAP, Director of Supported Employment for Division TEACCH.
The T-TAP can be used to assist individuals with autism spectrum disorders to prepare for a successful, semi-independent adult life (i.e., personal development, recreational living, adult integration into employment and residential arrangements, etc.).
The formal assessment evaluates the six major functional skill areas 1) Vocational Skills, 2) Vocational Behaviour, 3) Independent Functioning, 4) Leisure Skills, 5) Functional Communication, and 6) Interpersonal Behaviour.
The ongoing informal assessment is a tool for the development of appropriate transition goals and objectives within community-based instruction settings.
This is a two-day course, taking place on 24th and 25th of September in the Tara Towers Hotel, Dublin.
