  • Edco Digital offers teachers Irish curriculum-based textbooks in an online viewer and these may be of use for differentiating the curriculum for students with special educational needs.

  • Folensonline offers a range of Folens books online, to enrich the learning experience in the classroom (primary and post-primary). The enlarged pages, full screen images, interactive and note-taking facilities enable the teacher to merge technology with the textbook across all types of subjects. Schools have received a code and each teacher needs to register.

'Access and Participation in Science: Supporting Inclusion through Teacher Education (SITE) - a pilot initiative'
This reports on a project which identified concrete inclusive strategies, examined changes in the classroom practice of individual teachers and provided support for a wider cohort of teachers who wished to enhance the participation of pupils with special educational needs in the science classroom.
