CanChild is a research and educational centre based in Canada.  This site has particularly useful sections related to the learning and teaching of pupils with Developmental Coordination Disorder/Dyspraxia.

Curriculum Development Unit City of Dublin VEC

The CDU site is very useful for accesing resources for second level - in particular its Publications section and its Library. A Publications catalogue for 2004-2005 lists resources and materials specific to JCSP, LCA and Adult Literacy.

eWorkshop Online Teaching Resource

Developed in Canada by the Ontario Ministry of Education, this website includes information on literacy, numeracy and communication. It includes videos of teachers in action, activity sheets, lesson plans and more. Suggestions are included for daily physical activities that can be utilised in the classroom or resource room. This site is perhaps best suited for those teaching within the Primary sector.

Funschool Hundreds of interactive educational games and activities for children, sorted by grade level. Also has printable worksheets and activities, and downloadable programs. Another excellent site for children of all ages and abilities. kaboose.jpg
Learn to Read at Starfall

An excellent site for online reading lessons; starting with c-v-c words in Zac the Rat, higher levels of ability also catered for. Very colourful and interactive for children. Check out the 'Alphabet' movie!

An attractive site devised by an American teacher with lots of nice resources including a Dolch Kit with all the Dolch lists.

Worksheet Factory produces excellent programmes for creating worksheets easily in Maths, Language and Geography. Some of its products are free to download, while 2 of its professional products can be downloaded for a 20-use free trial.
