  1. The National Council for Curriculum and Assessment (NCCA) produced Guidelines for Teachers in 2007
  2. The 'Equality of Challenge' Initiative was a small-scale post-primary project which aimed to advise the development of support in the area of Exceptional Ability and Dual Exceptionality. It ran from 2008/2009 to 2013/2014. Report of the Equality of Challenge project
  3. The SESS produced the resource Metacognition for the classroom and beyond: Differentiation and support for learners as part of its Equality of Challenge Initiative.
  4. 'Exceptionally Able / Dual Exceptional Post-Primary School Self-Review'. This review document may help schools in planning for developing provision in the area of Exceptional Ability and Dual Exceptionality.
